Finally, I was able to spend a Christmas with Samantha. This was the first Christmas I was able to spend with her since 2007. I was so caught up in the moment, it made the time seem like it was only 5-minutes. It was a very emotional drive home to say the least. This feels so surreal still. I did not know what kind of Christmas Adriana Coronel Tenorio (AKA Adriana Howitt Coronel, Ari Coronel, Ari Coronel Tenorio, Ari Howitt, Ari Howitt Coronel) would be able to give you. I made sure Santa was generous to Samantha and Axel Alvarez Coronel (AKA Axel Coronel). Not to mention Mara Coronel’s (AKA Mara Mireles Coronel, Mariana Coronel or Mariana Mireles Coronel) kids: Fatima, Jorgito and Max. It was the right thing to do.
For a little while I was able to forget how we got here. Of course as 4:00 rolled around, as we were cuddled up in front of the TV watching the Dora the Explorer Christmas DVD, Adriana was pushing me out the door. Never mind it was Christmas and Dads should be with their little girls. Never mind this was our first Christmas together in 3-years. Never mind she just got done telling me how much you need me just a few minutes before that. Never mind the voicemail you are about to listen to. Adriana dropped that on me as I was driving home.
